Jennie Eisenhower is an actor, director and teaching artist.  Her passion is to tell interesting stories through the mediums of stage and film. 

 

As a stage performer, Jennie has worked Off Broadway and at regional theatres across the country.  She is a two-time winner of Philadelphia's prestigious Barrymore Award:  Best Actress in a Musical for her work in Forbidden Broadway at the Walnut Street Theatre, and Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Kate in The Wild Party at the Media Theatre. She has had seven additional Barrymore nominations. Jennie's film credits include principal roles in the films Mona Lisa Smile, the 2011 remake of Arthur starring Russell Brand, and The Suspect with Mekhi Phifer. 

 

As a director, Jennie’s credits include 1776 and Chicago at The Media Theatre, At Wit's End at Bristol Riverside Theatre, Falsettos for 11th Hour Theatre Company's Next Step Series, and Flat Stanley and A Christmas Carol for the children's series on the Walnut Street Theatre’s Mainstage. She served as Associate Director on Fun Home (Arden Theatre), Side Show, West Side Story and To Kill a Mockingbird (Media Theatre). Jennie is an adjunct faculty member at Temple University and has a private studio.

 

Jennie is a summa cum laude graduate of Northwestern University.  She is a proud member of Actors Equity Association and SAG/AFTRA. She is based in the Philadelphia area with her partner Sara and daughter Chloe, age 6.
